Great place, wonderful groups and activities. People there are so nice. Great place to try find your recovery/program. Opioid counselor really helped me get out things that needed to come out and know it wasn’t my fault. Loved the place and would go back, but they kicked me out unjustifiably and dr was brand new outta medical residency (lowkey jk- Highkey not) followed what ppl told him to do. Tried help. But some don’t REALLY LISTEN to wants and needs. Or A misunderstanding situation they could’ve been resolved it’s had to just listened to what I had to see why I did it instead of assuming. Had been knew made mistake and was forced to leave it was situation many IOP/outpatients I’ve been to never heard of them doing it. Whilst a counselor trying to also get a client kicked out due to a first meeting disagreement about sleeping accidentally in group. Making it point to pick on the client, blame subs which was only med helpful atm. She wasn’t bias and had an agenda even mother said nothing to do “she wasn’t very nice, she really wants you gone” And the dr clearly didn’t know if reacted with subs certain med could thus making you extremely tried. Need to watch meds and how the interactive with other meds. Otherwise LOVE BETTY FORD OG REHAB. Great af food made me gain like 15 pounds 💁🏼♀️🤤❤️🥳 FYI LISTENING TO OUR SIDE THE PATIENT IS IMPORTANT, facts important, behavior when there, the patients feelings and what they’re experiencing are important. I felt like I was treated like I was ashamed addict and failure. You’re rehab should know when they mean it and when they want some meds. Hear everyone out. Not just board who you mostly likely don’t meet just your one dr. (MY OPINION I LOVED BETTY FORD AND WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE, seriously 😳)
30 years ago this week I walked into the Center with no idea what I was getting myself into. Thanks to the staff of dedicated people, I can report that what they taught me about myself has kept me sober every since that first day. I would not be alive today if I had not gone to Betty Ford when I did
Love this place!! Did my internship there and found the center to be the very best then and still do!
Great chips.
They give you all the tools needed to live a sober life.
Nora M. I know is an amazing counselor with an incredible story of what's brought her to help others. She's been through it and knows the tricks and tools to set you on the path to recovery. This is a great facility to go if you are looking for help to change your life around!
